GOAL 12 – RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION
SDG 12 promotes sustainable models of consumption and production, waste reduction, efficient use of natural resources, and minimizing environmental impact. Implementation of this goal includes energy and water conservation, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, sustainable procurement practices, waste sorting and recycling, and promotion of ecological responsibility among students, faculty, and staff.
By adapting principles of responsible consumption and production, ALT University fosters a mindset of sustainability and environmentally conscious behavior among students. This includes adopting green standards in daily campus operations, supporting sustainability-related research, and hosting awareness campaigns to boost environmental literacy.
