At the JSC Academy of logistics and transport (ALT), the work on employment of graduates begins while they are still studying, when, depending on the student’s inclinations, he or she is sent for an industrial practice at a specific organization – the intended place of future employment. Depending on the results of the internship, the recommendation of the head of the internship, the place of the internship is either adjusted or left unchanged. This approach allows to minimize the adaptation period, quickly and easily join the team.

In order to assist graduates in determining their future place of employment various events are regularly held, such as job fairs, presentations, meetings and interviews with managers and successful representatives of business, leading specialists in various sectors of the economy.

The final stage of work on providing young specialists with jobs is personal placement of graduates, which is conducted annually before graduation. Distribution of graduates is conducted by special commission on distribution according to the workplaces at the enterprises and organizations, which need specialists of given profile. The special commission consists of JSC ALT employees and heads of various organizations. The procedure of distribution of young specialists is carried out with the obligatory participation of representatives of personnel services of branches, subsidiaries and affiliates of JSC “National Company “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy”, as well as enterprises of various construction companies, design institutes, banks, financial and other organizations.

During the placement of young professionals, the recommendations of the head of the internship, the employer’s application, the progress and desire of the graduate are taken into account. The graduates having high academic achievements, actively participated in the social life of  JSC ALT have an advantage when choosing a future place of work.
