Brief (professional biography)
Altay Yeldos Altayuly is an instrumentation engineer, a specialist in the field of measurement data processing, and a leading scientist in filtering noisy measurements. In 2013, he graduated from the country’s largest and most important technical university, Satbayev University named after K.I. Satpayev. He began his professional career in 2011 as a laboratory assistant, then as a senior laboratory assistant, engineer (2012), and technical specialist (2013) in information, measurement, and control computing technology at the Kazakh Research Institute research laboratory in Almaty. From 2013 to 2015, he completed a full-time master’s degree in his specialty at ITMO University, completed internships at leading research centers in St. Petersburg and Wuhan (China), after which he worked as an assistant in the instrumentation engineering department at Satbayev University until 2016.
From 2016 to 2020, he completed a university course to improve his qualifications and strengthen his scientific work. Full-time postgraduate study in specialty 2.3.1 “Systems Analysis, Management, Information Processing, and Statistics,” followed by external studies in specialty 2.2.8 “Methods and Instruments for Monitoring and Diagnostics of Materials, Products, Substances, and the Natural Environment,” while simultaneously working at the Department of Control Systems and Computer Science and the Faculty of Control Systems and Robotics at ITMO University until 2024. In 2024, he was awarded an Honorary Certificate for his significant contribution to the development of the Almaty Scientific Center.
Research Interests:
– Study of the causes of the main factors influencing the effectiveness of information processing (including electrical and acoustic data of various natures and structures);
– Search for and testing new approaches and methods for filtering noisy measurements to improve processing efficiency;
– Mapping filter loci and searching for associations;
– Search for associations between multisensory information.
