Graduates of the program can work as: Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Big Data Developers, Machine Learning Specialists, BI Analysts, System Architects, Database Administrators, and other related positions. They can build careers in IT companies, banks, telecommunications, government agencies, startups, and research organizations.

The program is based on modern educational methods, including project-based learning, research activities, practical workshops, and case studies. Courses are taught in Kazakh, Russian, and English. Students gain hands-on experience with real industry projects and develop their professional portfolios through collaboration with technology partners.

During the program, students study the following areas:

• Big Data processing and storage technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka);
• Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence fundamentals;
• Data analysis and visualization tools (Python, R, Tableau, Power BI);
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud);
• SQL and NoSQL database management;
• Cybersecurity and data protection principles.

Students have access to state-of-the-art computer labs, servers, interactive classrooms, and research centers. The university provides access to specialized software and virtual environments simulating real industry conditions.

Students can participate in international academic mobility programs such as Erasmus+, Mevlana, and others. They can study abroad, undertake internships in foreign universities or IT companies, and develop their own startups through the ALT University Startup Hub.

The university offers modern and comfortable dormitories equipped with Wi-Fi, study rooms, kitchens, libraries, and leisure areas, providing a safe and supportive living environment for students.

Students have the opportunity to undergo military training at the university’s military department. Upon completion, graduates are awarded the rank of Reserve Lieutenant.
