This is the «Gold Standard» Master’s students’ study partly here and partly at a foreign university, and upon completion, they receive two diplomas – one from Kazakhstan and one from an international institution.

Entry into international rankings: Active partnerships, exchange of publications, joint research, and programs are among the main criteria of global rankings (THE, QS). Without this, a university remains “invisible” on the world stage.

Diploma recognition: Double degree programs and joint accreditations build trust in graduates not only domestically but also abroad.

The university prepares specialists who understand not only local but also international logistics.

The Master’s program is built around three key roles of the future professional: the practitioner (internship), the mentor (teaching practice), and the researcher (R&D). This forms a well-rounded, reflective, and in-demand specialist, while the university gains talent and scientific results.

Mentor (Teaching Practice): Master’s students can conduct seminars, grade bachelor’s students’ work, and assist in running labs, thereby relieving full-time faculty for research. This pedagogical practice helps identify them and “integrate” them into the academic environment.

Internships: A Form of Dialogue. The university directs students to companies, providing a platform for internships. This lays the groundwork for further cooperation (sponsorship, joint projects, affiliated departments). The «on-the-ground» work experience immerses students in daily processes and corporate culture, fostering an understanding of how theory (optimization models, digital tools) is applied in practice:

– familiarization with innovative technologies and new types of production;

– familiarization with the latest theoretical, methodological, and technological achievements of domestic and foreign science;

– familiarization with modern methods of scientific research, processing, and interpretation of experimental data;

– consolidation of theoretical knowledge acquired during the study process, gaining practical skills, competencies, and professional experience in the field of study, as well as mastering advanced foreign experience.
