8D07170 – TRANSPORT FACILITIES (Doctor of Industry)

This program is designed to train highly qualified scientific-pedagogical and industrial professionals with advanced professional and research competencies in the field of highways and transport infrastructure.
Doctoral students acquire the ability to perform surveys, design, construction, operation, reconstruction, and maintenance of transport facilities using innovative technologies.

Graduates of the program can hold the following positions:

  • Head of scientific research projects
  • Chief engineer / lead engineer in design organizations
  • Head of departments in road-construction companies
  • Expert in transport infrastructure
  • Research engineer, design engineer, technology engineer
  • Head of laboratories for road quality control and diagnostics
  • Consultant in transport construction
  • Lecturer or researcher at universities and scientific institutions

Employment opportunities:
research institutes, design organizations, transport and communication enterprises, government agencies in the road sector, and transport consulting companies.

Instruction is provided in Kazakh, Russian, and English.
