Participation in scientific projects
Research interests: energy systems; energy efficiency; renewable energy sources; hydrogen energy; turbulent premixed combustion; combustion of methane, hydrogen, and ammonia; multi-inlet cyclone combustors; computational fluid dynamics (CFD); modelling using ANSYS Fluent; formation and reduction of NOₓ and CO₂ emissions; small hydropower; wind energy systems equipped with flow concentrators; water treatment and ozone-based water purification technologies.
Most Significant Research Projects:
2020–2025 — “Turbulent Premixed Combustion and Flame Characteristics of Hydrogen-Enriched Gaseous Fuels in a Multi-Inlet Cyclone Combustor,” Gazi University, Ankara, Türkiye.
Role: Author and researcher responsible for the doctoral study. The research involved three-dimensional CFD modelling of flow, mixing, combustion, and pollutant formation processes in a multi-inlet cyclone combustor.
2012–2018 — “Theoretical and Experimental Studies on the Development of a New Straight-Flow Hydroturbine Design,” JSC Kazakh Research Institute of Power Engineering named after Academician Sh. Ch. Chokin.
Role: Researcher and co-developer. Computational and experimental investigations of the hydrodynamic characteristics of a straight-flow low-head hydroturbine for small hydropower plants were conducted.
2012–2018 — “Theoretical and Experimental Studies on the Development of a New Wind Energy System with a Flow Concentrator,” JSC Kazakh Research Institute of Power Engineering named after Academician Sh. Ch. Chokin.
Role: Researcher and co-developer. Airflow behaviour was investigated, a wind energy system incorporating a flow concentrator with curved channels was designed, and an experimental test rig was constructed.
2012–2018 — “Development of a New Modular Permanent-Magnet Generator Design,” JSC Kazakh Research Institute of Power Engineering named after Academician Sh. Ch. Chokin.
Role: Researcher and co-author of the scientific and technical development. The project included the justification of design solutions, patent research, and the preparation of scientific and technical publications.
