the Department of Information and Communication Technologies of the Academy of Logistics and Transport trains highly qualified specialists in the design, development, implementation, maintenance and operation of information systems of various profiles, including mathematical, information, software, linguistic, technical and organizational and legal support of information systems that will be in demand in all IT areas, including railways and subways.

The Department of Information and Communication Technologies closely cooperates with such companies as JSC “National Company” Kazakhstan Temir Zholy “(main Computing Center), JSC “Transtelecom”, Institute of Information and Computing Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, etc.
Pedagogical practice is carried out in JSC “ Academy of Logistics and Transport ”. The industrial practice of undergraduates is carried out at the enterprises of the signaling and communication distance (CP of various distances) of the «National Company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy» JSC, «Transtelecom» JSC, Institute of Information and Computing Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Scientific training of undergraduates of the scientific and pedagogical direction is carried out in partner universities with a corresponding direction.
