Description Training of qualified specialists for the transport and logistics industry and foreign economic activity who possess knowledge and professional skills in the organization of international transportation using innovative technologies in the field of customs logistics

A student of OP 6B11340- Customs logistics, knowledge of disciplines with a legal bias, the basics of organization, management of foreign economic activity and customs is given. In the course of training, students acquire knowledge on foreign economic transactions, conclusion of contracts, application of customs procedures, customs payments, commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity (HS), declaration of goods, customs control and many other widely demanded modern knowledge and skills.

Learning outcomes:

– Apply regulatory and technical documentation and specialized literature in the state and foreign languages ​​in the transport and logistics industry.

– Use the foundations of social and ethical values ​​and spiritual processes, interpersonal and legal interests of the parties, rights in the implementation of professional activities.

– Demonstrate knowledge of the basic laws of mathematics in solving transport problems and be able to apply information and communication technologies in logistics.

– Apply knowledge on ensuring life safety, ecology and labor protection in the implementation of professional activities.

– Conduct a technical and economic analysis of the activities of transport enterprises in order to substantiate the management decisions made.

– Organize the rational interaction of modes of transport, forwarding, warehousing, logistics of production processes and distribution in order to optimize and improve the operation of transport.

– Possess the theoretical foundations of international conventions and agreements, practical skills of customs and tariff regulation in organizing the movement of goods and vehicles across the customs border.

– Use knowledge of the basics of customs law, economics, entrepreneurship and life safety in the field of customs logistics.

– Determine the place and role of customs authorities in the structure of state administration in interaction with other state bodies and organizations, including international ones.

– Apply the algorithm for conducting electronic document management in foreign trade activities for modeling and designing optimal logistics systems

– Systematize the work of customs infrastructure facilities through the use of specialized logistics procedures for customs clearance of goods and vehicles.

– Apply digital information technologies, tools, basic and functional areas of logistics to solve professional problems in supply chain management

– Analyze and apply the principles of integrated management of foreign trade operations to ensure the economic security of the state in the context of the globalization of logistics processes

– Evaluate conclusions and proposals for improving the activities of customs logistics in order to minimize fees and charges in supply chain management.

– to generalize knowledge of the theoretical foundations of international conventions and agreements and apply practical skills of customs and tariff regulation in organizing the movement of goods and vehicles across the customs border.
