DESCRIPTION
To train specialists in the field of transportation management, operation, and maintenance of railway transport, capable of applying modern technologies and methods to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the industry.

You will become a highly qualified specialist who:
– controls the movement of trains in real time;
– ensures the safety of train traffic;
– controls the transportation process on railway transport.

LO 1. Demonstrate a comprehensive worldview, critical thinking, and a readiness for social adaptation based on an understanding of sociopolitical systems, psychology, legal frameworks, and anti-corruption culture, as well as develop healthy lifestyle skills.
LO 2. Apply language skills to solve problems related to transportation management and railway operations, ensuring effective interaction in a professional environment using professional terminology in the national, Russian, and foreign languages.
LO 3. Integrate information and communication technologies, programming, and artificial intelligence to develop intelligent transport management systems, ensuring digital inclusion and the application of Smart City technologies to improve the efficiency and safety of rail transportation.
LO 4. Develop and implement sustainable technological solutions and occupational health and safety measures to minimize environmental impacts and ensure safe working conditions, and analyze environmental risks and safety threats in transport.
LO 5. Evaluate management decisions in rail transport taking into account green economy principles, develop sustainable development strategies for the industry, applying financial analysis and time management skills to achieve goals.
LO 6. Develop models and methods for solving research problems in the field of transportation process management and railway operation, analyzing physical processes and mechanical systems using mathematical apparatus and the laws of physics, as well as applying methods of theoretical mechanics to justify and optimize technical solutions, taking into account the requirements for scientific research.
LO 7. Manage the operation of railway stations, junctions, and sections by optimizing technological processes and applying methods for organizing car flows and operational control of train traffic, using modern information technologies and automated systems to ensure safety, smooth transportation, and efficient use of resources.
LO 8. Analyze the principles of designing and managing transport and logistics systems, including the interaction of various modes of transport and terminal operating technologies. Develop strategies to improve efficiency, security, and process automation using intelligent technologies (RFID, IoT, sensor networks) and modern supply chain management methods aimed at optimizing transport flows, improving customer service, and reducing logistics costs.
LO 9. Optimize solutions to improve the efficiency and safety of rail transport operations, taking into account the design and operational features of the system, and evaluate the interaction of rolling stock, infrastructure, and technological processes at stations and hubs.
LO 10. Plan and manage passenger transportation by various modes of transport, using methods for generating and regulating passenger flows, optimizing the route network, and improving service quality. Demonstrate knowledge of the regulatory framework and skills in organizing the operation of passenger complexes and high-speed highways, taking into account the use of innovative technologies.
LO 11. Research the regulatory framework, technological processes, and commercial aspects of freight transportation by rail, including the operation of sidings and access roads, and develop and optimize solutions to improve the efficiency, safety, and customer focus of freight and commercial rail transport operations.
LO 12.To develop and implement comprehensive solutions to improve traffic safety and prevent illegal interference in rail transport, analyzing regulatory and technical requirements for transport security, traffic management systems, and passenger protection, taking into account technical regulations, to ensure the reliable and safe operation of rail transport and the protection of the lives and health of citizens.
