Modern Logistics Management is a double degree program in partnership with Urumqi Vocational University (China). Study in Kazakhstan and China. Earn two degrees, three languages, and global perspectives.
PO 1 Interpret and explain the influence of general education and humanities disciplines on logistics decision-making in an international environment, identifying the legal, economic, cultural and ethical aspects that influence the management of logistics processes in global supply chains.
LO 2 Analyze differences in business communication and interpret cultural features of interaction in international supply chains, demonstrating proficiency in professional vocabulary and business communication skills in foreign languages (including Chinese and English) in an intercultural environment.
LO 3 Develop logistics solutions taking into account environmental, social and economic factors, applying the principles of sustainable logistics.
LO 4 Evaluate measures to ensure the accessibility of digital logistics services, including for people with limited mobility and regions with limited digital infrastructure.
LO 5 Apply modern information technologies to automate logistics processes (ERP, WMS, TMS) and artificial intelligence in logistics.
LO 6 Model global supply chains, identifying key risks and points of optimization of supply chains at the macro and micro levels, taking into account global instability, geopolitics and logistics hubs.
LO 7 Develop economically sound logistics solutions by assessing the costs and benefits of various logistics schemes using ABC, XYZ, TCO and other methods to analyze logistics efficiency.
LO 8 Assess the compliance of logistics processes with national and international regulations, taking into account ISO standards, Incoterms, customs legislation and other requirements.
LO 9 Solve logistics challenges using intelligent IT systems and assessing digital and inclusive technologies for responsible and ethical management of logistics processes aimed at optimizing multimodal transportation.
LO 10 Develop business plans in logistics, taking into account the design of logistics start-ups, the fundamentals of scientific research, time management and business communications, as well as using managerial economics and the principles of organizing freight transportation in supply chains for the effective management of logistics projects.
LO 11 Manage warehouse operations with reporting and the use of specialized software and equipment for the efficient organization of warehousing and distribution processes.
LO 12 Implement transport logistics management using transport IT systems for planning and managing logistics operations in the transport business with mandatory compliance with labor protection requirements and ensuring the safety of life of workers and participants in the transport process.
