This is an educational program of doctoral studies in the profile focused on training top managers, R&D managers and highly qualified experts who are able to implement the results of their applied research to solve strategic problems of the transport and logistics complex.
You will become a Doctor based on the profile that:
- Develops scientifically based recommendations and new standards to improve the operational reliability of transport equipment.
- Implements intelligent algorithms for planning, diagnosing and predicting the state of transport systems using AI and digital technologies.
- Performs strategic management of technical, organizational and financial risks based on data and forecasts.
- Manages innovative projects for the repair and modernization of rolling stock, ensuring their compliance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and international standards.
Graduates are ready to take the highest managerial and scientific-expert positions:
- Director of Innovation (CIO) or Director of Technical Development in large transport holdings (for example, JSC “NC “KTZ”).
- Head or Leading expert in research centers and design institutes.
- Chief Engineer, Technical Director, or Quality Director at transport companies.
- Senior Consultant or Strategic Analyst in international transport consulting companies.
The doctoral program consists of three years of intensive research work, closely integrated with production:
- Applied doctoral studies: The main focus is the doctoral student’s experimental research work aimed at solving real-world production problems.
- Corporate Immersion: Work experience and internships at the largest transport companies and R&D centers.
- Scientific mentoring: Guidance from leading Kazakhstani and foreign scientific consultants to ensure world-class research.
- Publication activity: Preparation of articles for publication in leading international peer-reviewed scientific journals (Scopus/WoS).
