On March 27, 2024, at 12:00, a guest lecture was held in conference room 2412 by Serik Kairbekovich Baymagambetov, Head of the Risk Management and Internal Control Sector, on the topic “COSO ERM Standard – Concept Structure.” The lecture was attended by students from the following groups: EiM-23-1, EiM-23-2, TL-22-3r, and UUO-22-2r.
COSO ERM is a risk management model developed by the Treadway Commission. It provides companies with a structured approach to identifying, assessing, managing, and monitoring risks that may affect their objectives.
The lecture emphasized the importance of students mastering modern risk management standards. Key aspects of COSO ERM and its practical application in various fields were discussed.
