Educational-methodical association of the republican educational-methodical council (EMA REMC)

Educational-methodical association of the republican educational-methodical council (EMA REMC) on the basis of the Academies of Logistics and Transport is an advisory working body created in the system of higher and postgraduate education to coordinate activities of higher education institutions, quality assurance and development of education, as well as participation in pedagogical, scientific and academic workers, representatives of employers in developing educational programs.

The EMA REMC of ALT includes educational and methodological sections in the following areas of training:

1) 071 Engineering:

– Transport, transport equipment and technologies;
– Магистральные сети и инфраструктура;
– Transport facilities

2) 113 Transport services:

– Organization of transportation, movement and operation of transport;
– Logistics (by industry).

The EMA consists of representatives of higher and postgraduate education organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, countries of the near and far abroad that provide training in the relevant areas of training, representatives of employers, associations of employers and other interested bodies, teachers and scientific researchers.

The main activities of EMA REMC are:

assistance in the implementation of state policy in the field of higher and postgraduate education;
coordination of activities of educational and methodological sections in the areas of training of higher and postgraduate education;
making proposals on the list of groups and areas of training and educational programs, taking into account the needs of the labor market;
development of measures to improve state mandatory standards of higher and postgraduate education;
preparation of recommendations for updating and improving the content of educational programs of higher and postgraduate education;
consideration and decision-making on the approval of standard curricula and standard curricula of higher and postgraduate education;
development of unified requirements for writing educational and methodological literature;
development of recommendations for providing higher educational institutions with educational and methodical literature;
preparation of recommendations on permission to use textbooks and educational literature, including electronic ones, for higher education institutions;
consideration of proposals and preparation of recommendations for the introduction of modern educational technologies;
summarizing the innovative experience of higher education institutions and preparing recommendations for its implementation;
analysis and identification of the most promising and effective areas of international cooperation on educational and methodological issues;
preparation of recommendations on educational programs of additional education and training, retraining, advanced training of teachers.
