Persons entering the master’s program submit the following documents to the ALT and / or through the information system of the National Testing Center (NCT):

1. application of the established form in accordance with the Rules for Conducting Comprehensive Testing, approved by Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 5, 2020 No. 230 addressed to the President-Rector of ALT;
2. document on higher education (original, when submitting documents to the admissions committee);
3. a copy of the identity document;
4. six photos measuring 3×4 centimeters (and an electronic version); a
5. medical certificate of form 075-u, approved by the order of the Acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2020 No. KR DSM-175/2020 “On Approval of Forms of accounting documentation in the field of healthcare»;
6. a copy of the certificate of passing the program test.

   Лица, имеющие один из международных сертификатов, подтверждающие владение иностранным языком в соответствии с общеевропейскими компетенциями (стандартами) владения иностранным языком, освобождаются от теста по иностранному языку КТ в магистратуру по следующим языкам:

   1) IELTS (АЙЛТС)/International English Language Tests System (Интернашнал Инглиш Лангудж Тестс Систем), пороговый балл – не менее 6,0;
   2) IELTS INDICATOR (АЙТЛС Индикатор), пороговый балл – не менее 6,0;
   3) Test of English as a Foreign Language Institutional Testing Programm (Тест ов Инглиш аз а Форин Лангудж Инститьюшнал Тестинг программ) (TOEFL ITP (ТОЙФЛ АйТиПи), пороговый балл – не менее 543 баллов;
   4) Test of English as a Foreign Language Institutional Testing Programm (Тест ов Инглиш аз а Форин Лангудж Инститьюшнал Тестинг програм) Internet-based Test (Интернет бейзид тест) (TOEFL IBT (ТОЙФЛ АйБИиТи), пороговый балл – не менее 60;
   5) TOEFL PBT (Тест ов Инглиш аз а Форин Лангудж пэйпер бэйсед тэстинг) Test of English as a Foreign Language Paper-based testing, пороговый балл – не менее 498;

Persons entering the master’s program take a CT test, which includes a test in a foreign language (English, German, French), a test on the profile of groups of educational programs, a test to determine their readiness to study in Kazakh or Russian.

CT is conducted by the National Testing Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the CT points determined by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter – the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan).

CT results are evaluated according to a 150-point rating system (Appendix 1). A certificate is issued based on the results of the CT scan.

Retaking entrance exams and CT exams in the year of their passing is not allowed.

CT is carried out in accordance with the Rules for conducting comprehensive testing, approved by the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 5, 2020 No. 230.

To participate in the Complex Testing, the applicant submits through the information system of the Republican state-owned enterprise “National Testing Center” of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
1) goes to the app.testcenter.kz;
2) registers in the application system via e-mail;
3) logs in to the application system;
4) goes to the “Submit application” tab;
5) the applicant agrees and confirms familiarization with the rules for conducting comprehensive testing.
6) selects the required type of testing;
7) completes the application;
8) pays for the test;
9) after successfully completing all the stages, the message “Application submitted successfully!”will be displayed.
Applicants can choose their own place to take the test. If the test taker needs to correct the submitted application (the venue, the group of educational programs, the language of the test), the possibility of editing is provided until the application database is closed), it is necessary to go to the “My History” tab, open the application and click “Edit application”.

Persons entering the master’s program in the groups of educational programs in the fields of education “Information and Communication Technologies”, “Engineering, Manufacturing and construction industries”, as well as in the areas of training “Social Sciences”, “Business and Management” are exempt from CT in the master’s program with Kazakh or Russian languages of instruction if they have an international certificate of passing the standardized test Graduate Record Examinations (grad) GRE with points according to Annex 2 to these Rules.

Persons entering the master’s program in the groups of educational programs of the direction of training personnel “Business and Management” are exempt from CT in the master’s program with Kazakh or Russian languages of instruction in the presence of an international certificate of passing the standardized test Graduate Management Admission Test (grade management admission Test) GMAT with points in accordance with Annex 3 to these rules.

The authenticity and validity of the submitted certificates are checked by the ALT Admissions Committee.

Applicants to the master’s program in the application indicate one group of educational programs and up to 3 (three) organizations of higher and postgraduate education.

The results of the CT scan are announced on the day of their implementation.

Enrollment in the ALiT Master’s program is held until August 28. Enrollment in the number of undergraduates is carried out by the ALiT admission committee. Enrollment of persons in the master’s program of ALiT is carried out according to the results of comprehensive testing, who have scored a threshold score. For training under the state educational order, the persons who have scored the highest points on the comprehensive test are enrolled.

The applicant for the master’s program in the application indicates a group of educational programs and three higher educational institutions. On the basis of the decision of the republican commission, an order of the authorized body in the field of education is issued and applicants are issued certificates of awarding an educational grant for postgraduate education. Lists of holders of the educational grant of postgraduate education are published in the mass media, on Internet resources. Certificates of the award of an educational grant of postgraduate education, together with the documents submitted by applicants, are issued by the admissions committees until August 27.

On the basis of the decision of the LEB commission, an order is issued by the akim or deputy akim of the corresponding region or city of republican significance, the capital, and applicants are issued certificates of awarding an educational grant to the LEB. Lists of LEB educational grant holders are published in the local media. A tripartite agreement “MIO-student-university” is concluded with the holder of the MIO educational grant.

Training of foreigners in the master’s program is carried out on a paid basis. The right for foreigners to receive free postgraduate education on a competitive basis in accordance with the state educational order is determined by international treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Admission of foreign citizens to study on a paid basis is carried out based on the results of an interview conducted by the ALiT admission committee during a calendar year.

Persons who have received documents on education in foreign educational organizations, for admission to the ALT master’s program in accordance with the received level of education and training profile, it is necessary to pass the procedure of recognition or nostrification of educational documents.

Educational documents issued by foreign educational organizations are recognized in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with international treaties (agreements).

ALiT has created all the opportunities for foreign citizens to study under postgraduate education programs, provides visa support, and provides accommodation in student homes (dormitories).
