On March 12, 2025, a debate on the topical topic “Environmental sustainability: Challenges and Solutions” was held at the Department of Information and Communication Technologies as part of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event was attended by teachers, 1st year doctoral students, students, as well as invited guests. The debate was attended by two teams of 2nd and 3rd year students of the RET educational program, who actively discussed important issues of environmental sustainability. The participants enthusiastically expressed their opinions, presented arguments, asked each other questions and actively debated. The discussion turned out to be dynamic and informative. Key topics were discussed during the debate.:
✔ Combating climate change;
✔ Waste reduction and rational consumption;
✔ Implementation of the principles of a closed-loop economy.
At the final stage, the participants were tested on the topic of the debate. At the end of the event, all participants were awarded letters of thanks, and the winning team was awarded a special cup. The guests and the jury summed up the debate, noting the importance of the issues raised. Environmental sustainability is a global issue that requires constant attention.
🌍 However, during the meeting, key aspects were revealed, and the participants came to an important conclusion: Ecological cleanliness begins with each of us!
