On April 14, 2025, a meeting was held with representatives of the Industrial Research Laboratory “Automation of Maintenance, Diagnostics and Monitoring of Harvester Systems” of the Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State University of Railways (ONIL ATO DM PGUPS) on the basis of the M. Tynyshpayev ALT University.
This meeting was organized on the initiative of the Department of Automation and Control as part of the re-equipment of specialized laboratories in the field of Automation and Control, which train specialists for railway automation and telemechanics.
The meeting was attended by the Board of Directors, the President-Rector, the directors of the institutes, the heads of the departments of Automation and Control, Energy, as well as faculty members of the ALT departments of M. Tynyshpayev University.
ONIL ATO DM PGUPS represented:
– Sergey Anatolyevich Kurenkov, Deputy Head of the Laboratory of ONIL ATO DM;
– Berezina Olga Valeryevna, Senior Engineer, Head of the EPA department;
– Valery A. Kuznetsov, Senior lecturer at the State Pedagogical University.
During the meeting, issues of implementing joint activities on the supply of training complexes for automated training systems (AOS), as well as electronic courses for AOS-Sh, AOS-UNIVERSITY were discussed. It should be noted that the presented AOS training complexes and electronic training courses use new technical capabilities both in training and automated monitoring of the academic performance of future specialists in the railway industry. Consequently, future specialists will be trained in the closest possible operational conditions, which will accordingly affect their quality training in technical support, search and elimination of various types of failures that occur in production.
