On February 08, 2024, a meeting was held with representatives of the Almaty clinic Medical center on the topics: “Myths about suicidal behavior”, “Depression as a suicide risk factor”. The director of the medical center “Almaty clinic” Kusainova Dina Turgunbayevna and clinical psychologist Kerimova Kristina Alexandrovna had a conversation on such topical issues as the mental state of a person, how to get out of a depressive situation. In the presentation, they focused on the main aspects and facts of the depressive state, about the features of behavior indicating the presence of suicidal thoughts, about self-help for depression, how to behave with a person suffering from depression and shared methods of treating depression. During the preventive conversation, students asked questions on topics of interest to them.
