Director of the Department of Educational and Social Work of the Academy of Logistics and Transport Turlybekova A.S., President of the student government Bisenov M., Vice-President of the joint venture Gadilbekov B. and student ombudsman Marupzhanov I. participated on March 1-2, 2024 in the city of Pavlodar, where the an international seminar-meeting with students on the topic “Zhastar kuaty-tabysty keleshekke bir kadam”, organized by Toraigyrov University. The student forum brought together active students from all over Kazakhstan.
The Forum program consisted of 2 parts, the first day was devoted to plenary sessions, a tour of the university, and familiarization with the ethno-aul. At the meeting, reports from foreign partner universities were presented on the topics: “About the interregional innovation center of the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences” (Germany), “Welcome Office” and an introduction to the week as the basis for the adaptation of foreign students” (Czech Republic), “Mental health of students traveling abroad” milestone within the framework of the academic mobility program” (Azerbaijan), “On the work of the student ombudsman of the Pavlodar region” (Pavlodar). The continuation of the plenary session was a meeting with student activists, where the reports were considered: “On working with sponsors for student events”, “On the concept of Abay “Tolyk Adam”, “Introduction and development of the institution of student ombudsman in the self-government of the university”. The open platform provided an opportunity to make plans for the future and conduct extensive discussions. On the second day, the participants and guests of the forum were introduced to the city, and the organizers also conducted a field trip to the Bayanaul district of the Pavlodar region to the memorial complex of Mashkhur Zhusup Kopeev.
The Forum participants gained a wealth of experience and supported the initiative of the Ministry of Higher and Postgraduate Education in such meetings.
