On December 6, 2021 at 15.30. the Department of “Magistral Engineering” held a seminar for students on the topic “My future profession!” – An overview of educational programs of the cycle “Rolling stock”. There were students studying on EP 6B07116 – Wagons and 6B07117 – Locomotives, undergraduates studying on EP 7M07145 – Railway rolling stock (profile 1.5 years), 7M07146 – Railway rolling stock (scientific and pedagogical, 2 years), doctoral students studying on EP 8D07159 – Transport, transport equipment and technology. Speakers, Head of the department “TE” Ashirbayev G.K. and Associate Professor of the Department of “ME” N.V. Ivanovtseva, presented a presentation with a detailed explanation of the structure and content of the three levels of EP: bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral studies, in which the Department of “TE” conducts training. Special attention was focused on the types of professional activities of the future specialist and the list of specialist positions, respectively, for each EP separately. The audience was also presented with the “Stages and principles of the development of the OT” and invited to participate in the annual process of revision and discussion of the EP in 2022. The faculty members of the department who were present shared their opinions and experiences, and questions were answered.
