On April 8, an event was held in the library and information center, dedicated to the 2nd indicator “Elimination of hunger” from 17 goals of sustainable development (SDG). A book exhibition was presented for students, and a screening of the film “Kash” directed by Aysultana Seitova, which was released in 2022, was organized. The plot of the film tells about the famine that engulfed the Kazakh ASSR in the 1930s. The fact that the plot of the film is based on real events is noteworthy. The purpose of this event was to tell the young generation about the life of their ancestors, what they had to go through, and to carry the conclusions for themselves into the future “Humanity” and striving for the best.
