On April 4, at the initiative of the Akimat of Almaty city, a large-scale clean-up event was organized as part of the “Taza Kazakhstan” environmental campaign, aimed at improving sanitation across the city.
The staff and students of ALT University actively supported this initiative by participating in cleaning the university grounds and student dormitories. During the clean-up, the areas were cleared of waste, and landscaping and greening жұмыстар were carried out.
This event is not only about maintaining cleanliness, but also an important step toward fostering environmental awareness and increasing responsibility for the environment. It once again highlights that caring for nature is the duty of every citizen.
The initiative aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goal 11 — “Sustainable Cities and Communities”, contributing to the creation of a comfortable, clean, and safe living environment.
