On November 15, KIMEP University and Agartu Space hosted a one-day AI & Machine Learning Hackathon, bringing together students and young developers eager to explore and create projects in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
The hackathon gathered participants of various skill levels, from beginners to experienced programmers. Some teams arrived fully formed, while others created teams on the spot, facilitating networking opportunities and the exchange of ideas.
Participants worked on real-world tasks involving AI and ML, received guidance from mentors, developed prototype solutions within limited time, and presented their projects to an expert jury.
The prize fund of 170,000 KZT was awarded to the teams with the most innovative and impactful solutions. The jury evaluated projects based on practical relevance, technological sophistication, implementation quality, and potential for future development.
The event took place in a dynamic and productive atmosphere, giving participants the opportunity to showcase their skills, gain valuable experience, and expand their professional network.
