On April 8, 2026, ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpaev hosted an extensive guest lecture dedicated to career opportunities in Kazakhstan’s quasi-public sector. The speaker was Samal Nauryzova, Head of the unified recruitment platform QSamruk.kz.

Working in national companies offers stability, prestige, and participation in large-scale state projects. However, strict selection standards often become a barrier for young professionals. During the session titled “Algorithm of Success: From Intern to Employee of a National Company,” students gained exclusive insights into the “inner workings” of recruitment and learned how to effectively navigate all stages of the selection process using modern digital tools.

Key Insights from the Session:

  • Digital Transparency: Samal Kenzhebayevna provided a detailed overview of the QSamruk.kz platform and shared practical advice on creating a “noticeable” CV. Participants learned how to adapt their data to system algorithms in order to attract the attention of HR directors in the country’s largest holdings.
  • Navigating the Selection Funnel: The speaker broke down the candidate journey step by step — from initial registration and testing to data verification and the final interview.
  • Learning from Mistakes: Special attention was given to case analysis explaining why even strong candidates may be rejected by the system and how to avoid common mistakes at the early career stage.

Contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

This event is part of the university’s comprehensive strategy to achieve the UN global goals, laying the foundation for a sustainable future for our graduates:

  • SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth): Promoting productive employment and supporting youth career entry opportunities.
  • SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure): Enhancing students’ digital literacy in using innovative HR platforms.
  • SDG 10 & 16 (Reduced Inequalities & Strong Institutions): Promoting meritocracy and transparent recruitment practices through the QSamruk system.
  • SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): Strengthening strategic cooperation between the university and national-level digital platforms.

Such events at ALT University create a real “career lift,” enabling future leaders across various industries to confidently design their professional paths and contribute to the innovative development of Kazakhstan.
