From December 3 to 5, ALT University named after M. Tynyshpaev hosted a series of guest lectures featuring representatives of the international company Alstom, a global leader in railway transport and sustainable mobility solutions. The speakers were Arman Gabbasov, Recruitment Manager, and Kuanish Mukushev, Project Manager.
The lecture, titled “Alstom: Your Path to the Future Begins Here,” highlighted the company’s mission to create new opportunities for young professionals and shape the future of the transportation industry.
Alstom in Kazakhstan and Worldwide. Students learned about the company’s history, global presence, major projects, and contribution to the development of Kazakhstan’s railway infrastructure. Arman Gabbasov presented internship programs, job opportunities, candidate requirements, and competencies that will be crucial for future transport professionals. Kuanish Mukushev shared examples of ongoing projects in Kazakhstan and explained the role of project managers in implementing modern rail solutions.
The event served as an important platform for students to engage directly with industry experts, understand employer expectations, and explore career prospects in the railway and engineering sectors.
