On September 8, 2026, a seminar-workshop titled “Enhancing the Role of the Family in Society” was held at Student Dormitory No. 2 of ALT University. The event was organized by the university’s Office of Inclusive Education and Mental Health as part of the implementation of UN SDG No. 3: “Good Health and Well-being.”
The speakers were Dariya Rakhimaliyevna Shabdenova and Nurkhan Amanzholuly Kapar, specialists from the Office of Inclusive Education and Mental Health. First-year students residing in Dormitory No. 2 participated in the seminar. During the session, the students explored the importance of the family in fostering emotional well-being and a resilient society, as well as the value of strengthening a culture of mutual understanding and support within the family.
To conclude the event, psychologists conducted brief consultations incorporating art-therapy elements aimed at emotional reflection. Caring for mental health begins with paying attention to oneself and those around us.
