The partnership between ALT University and Orbis Auto continues to reach new heights, providing students with access to international practices, cutting-edge technologies, and real-world automotive industry cases. Today, this is no longer just a collaboration on paper but a systematic effort that unites education with one of the country’s largest automotive holdings.

At the invitation of EXEED Kazakhstan, representatives of ALT University — Chairman of the Board of Directors Arslan Seriktegi and Vice-Rector for Corporate and Social Development Andrey Ivanov — attended Beijing Auto Show 2026, one of the world’s premier automotive exhibitions.

Beijing Auto Show is a global platform where leading brands present new models and technological solutions, setting the trajectory for the world’s automotive industry. It is here that the ideas and trends that will define the future of the sector in the coming years are born. For ALT University, participation in the show was an opportunity not only to observe global trends but also to strengthen international ties.

A key highlight of the trip was a meeting with the Vice President of Chery International, Mr. Chin. During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for joint projects in human resource development and the advancement of practice-oriented education.

The discussions focused on the sectors that are shaping tomorrow’s market today:

  • Training specialists in mechanical engineering and after-sales service;

  • Implementing modern educational modules tailored to global trends;

  • Participation of ALT University students in the projects and processes of the Orbis Auto ecosystem.

Thanks to the close partnership with the global brand EXEED and the support of Orbis Auto, ALT University is considering the launch of specialized educational programs in the following areas: Automotive Engineering — with a focus on next-generation engineering solutions, and Automotive Business — with an emphasis on management, marketing, and strategy in the retail sector.

The cooperation between ALT University and Orbis Auto began in October 2025 with the signing of a strategic partnership memorandum aimed at developing joint projects in personnel training for the transport and engineering industries.

In February 2026, the partnership saw its practical implementation with the opening of the Orbis Auto Training and Practical Laboratory at the university. This lab was integrated into the automotive engineering curriculum, giving students the opportunity to work with the modern equipment and technologies used in the auto industry.

Today, the laboratory serves as a platform where theory is reinforced by real-world practice: students study vehicle design, master diagnostics, analyze modern engineering solutions, and acquire competencies highly sought after in the labor market.

ALT University remains committed to a learning model where knowledge is immediately applied in practice, and students gain direct access to the industry and modern technologies. The partnership with Orbis Auto and participation in Beijing Auto Show 2026 confirm that the university is consistently building a next-generation educational environment and preparing specialists who will be in high demand in the economy of the future.
