From August 13 to 15, 2026, the ATTRON team took part in the SHAIQAS 2026 Republican Championship, held at the Amandyk training ground. The championship brought together university students, engineering teams, representatives of private companies, and military personnel of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As a result of the competition, the team secured 8th place in the overall team standings.

ALT University was represented at the championship by students and university specialists involved in the development of robotics, engineering design, and unmanned technologies.

During the final stage, the team presented its own engineering developments in the field of robotics and unmanned systems, demonstrating the practical competencies of ALT University students and specialists.

One of the presented solutions was a mobile robotic platform designed to perform tasks remotely in environments involving increased risks to human safety. The team also demonstrated an unmanned aerial system showcasing its expertise in UAV design, control systems, and the integration of hardware and software components.

Another development was a mobile self-propelled robotic platform designed for the rescue and evacuation of wounded personnel from hazardous areas. The project demonstrates the potential of ground-based robotic systems to reduce risks to people during rescue and evacuation operations.

One of the key features of SHAIQAS 2026 was its field-based competition format. Participants were required not only to demonstrate completed solutions but also to work with their equipment directly at the training ground. The team configured equipment, tested its developments, addressed identified technical issues, and improved its designs under limited time and resource conditions.

This format provided participants with valuable practical experience in technical testing, rapid improvement of robotic systems, distribution of responsibilities within the team, and the development of engineering solutions directly during the competition.

Securing 8th place in the overall team standings at SHAIQAS 2026 reflects the systematic work of ALT University students and specialists and demonstrates the university’s growing practical expertise in robotics, unmanned technologies, and engineering design.

Participation in the championship was not only a competition for the team but also a comprehensive test of its technologies in conditions closely resembling a real field environment, where the reliability of engineering solutions, speed of decision-making, and effective teamwork played a crucial role.
