The Institute of Logistics and Business, in collaboration with the Department of Transport Services and Business, organized an educational event as part of the pedagogical practice for PhD students in “Logistics (by Industries).” The session was led by doctoral candidates — retired Colonel N.M. Seksenbayev, representing the Institute of Military Affairs, and lecturer N.M. Baidildayeva, highlighting a unique interdisciplinary approach to specialist training.
The event featured academic debates focused on the transition to a circular economy, environmental standards, and the role of logistics in achieving sustainable development. Participants emphasized supply chain optimization and carbon footprint reduction as key strategies for modern business. Aligned with SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), this initiative fosters environmental awareness and analytical thinking among students, integrating global sustainability principles into the academic curriculum.
