ALT University Honors Educators and Veterans
Respecting the older generation and following their example is the sacred duty of our descendants.
As part of the Day of Older Persons celebrations, the leadership of ALT University named after M. Tynyshbaev continued their congratulations by visiting veteran educator Izbasar Saketovich Karabasov—a man who dedicated his life to serving science and youth, rising from a rank-and-file teacher to the Rector of the Academy (AlIIT).
Words cannot express the joy and excitement of our esteemed aksakal upon meeting with the vice-rectors, the chairperson of the Trade Union, and, at the head of the delegation, the Chairperson of the Board and Rector of ALT University named after M. Tynyshbaev, Meruert Sovetovna Zharmagambetova.
Abyz-aksakal mentored generations of railway workers, instilling in them the belief that the railway profession is one of the most honorable and responsible!
As a sign of gratitude and respect, I.S. Karabasov was awarded the “Kazakhstan Zhoғary Mektebinің enbek sіңіrgen қayratkerі” medal from the National Academy of Sciences of the Kazakhstan Higher School, and was also presented with an honorary Kazakh chapan.
We wish good health, longevity, and prosperity to the esteemed veterans of ALT University! May your life’s journey serve as an example for the younger generation!
