On September 30, 2026, as part of the implementation of SDG 4 “Quality Education” and SDG 9 “Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure,” a masterclass titled “Project-Based Learning in English Language Teaching: Transitioning from Exercises to Creating Real Communicative Products” was held. The speaker for the event was Dina Yerlanovna Sagyrbayeva, Senior Lecturer at the Language Education Department and Master of Philology.
During the workshop, participants explored practical aspects of integrating Project-Based Learning (PBL) methodology into the educational process. Special attention was given to transforming traditional grammar and vocabulary exercises into practice-oriented tasks aimed at students creating authentic communicative deliverables—such as business presentations, industry-specific projects, and analytical reports. Participants discussed mechanics for integrating research and digital skills into language disciplines, directly contributing to enhancing educational quality and training skilled professionals for modern industries.
