On June 11, 2026, students of ALT University took part in the International Competition of Innovations in Embodied Intelligence — the Central Asian Robotics Competition, which was held at Astana IT University in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan.
The competition brought together students from Central Asian countries and China to solve practical tasks in the fields of robotics, programming, artificial intelligence, and automated control systems. According to the competition regulations, the teams were formed from representatives of different countries, which contributed to the development of international cooperation and the exchange of professional experience.
The international team included students of ALT University and the partner university Changzhou College of Information Technology, China. Joint work allowed the participants to strengthen their professional competencies, gain experience in interaction within an international environment, and expand their knowledge in the field of modern information technologies and robotics.
ALT University was represented at the competition by:
– Nurken Maksatuly, group IS-25-10k;
– Isatai Bazarbayuly Amanturli, group IS-25-9k;
– Islam Karimzhanuly Yuldashev, group PI-25-3k;
– Yerassyl Bazaruly Gali, group PI-25-3k.
During the competition, the students demonstrated a high level of training, skills in programming robotic systems, developing control algorithms, solving engineering tasks, and effective teamwork. The participants successfully applied their knowledge in practice while working on tasks related to intelligent robotic systems and automation. As a result of the competition, all teams won third-place awards.
Participation in the international competition became an important step in the development of ALT University’s academic cooperation with foreign educational organizations and allowed the university to be worthily represented on an international platform dedicated to innovations and advanced technologies.
The event corresponds to the UN Sustainable Development Goal No. 17, “Partnerships for the Goals.”
We congratulate our students on their successful participation and wish them further achievements in their scientific and professional activities!
