On May 17, the Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev ALT University hosted a large-scale parent-teacher meeting organized in partnership with the “OkBolashak” UNT preparation educational center. The event brought together more than 300 parents and over 50 school graduates interested in choosing their future career path, university admission, and designing their further educational trajectory.
The official part of the event opened with a welcoming speech by the founder of the “OkBolashak” educational center, Lyubov Nikolaevna. In her address, she emphasized the vital importance of making an informed career choice, noting that an applicant’s successful future directly depends on the collaborative efforts of parents, educational centers, and higher education institutions.
Following this, ALT University representatives provided guests with detailed insights into learning opportunities, academic programs, and the key advantages of the university. Adina Auezkan, Director of the Sales Department, and Alikhan Auken, Sales Manager, presented comprehensive information on fields of study, admission rules, and enrollment stages. They also addressed pressing questions regarding state grants, discounts, student life, and graduate career prospects.
Participants showed particular interest in a seminar delivered by guest speaker and career counselor Omarbek Koshkimbaiuly on the topic: “WAKE UP, APPLICANT! Choosing the Right Major is Choosing Your Life.” The presentation covered key aspects of youth professional self-determination, current labor market trends, highly demanded skills of the future, and practical recommendations for school graduates when selecting their specialization.
The event concluded with an open Q&A session, allowing parents and high school students to receive individual consultations from university representatives regarding admissions and educational programs. After the official part, a guided campus tour was arranged, allowing guests to explore the university’s modern infrastructure, classrooms, and research spaces.
The university noted that hosting such meetings strengthens cooperation between educational centers, the university, and applicants’ families, helping future students make a deliberate career choice and take a confident step toward a successful professional future.
