On April 22, 2026, an intellectual game titled “Brain Battle: World of Science” was held to commemorate Science Day. Organized by the “General Engineering” Department, the event featured first-year students who showcased their knowledge and ingenuity.

The purpose of the event was to increase students’ cognitive activity and to merge theoretical engineering knowledge with practical logic. Throughout the competition, students answered challenging questions on the fundamentals of physics, mathematics, and engineering, demonstrating exceptional teamwork.

The game consisted of several rounds:

  1. “General Knowledge” — In this round, participants answered foundational questions in physics, mathematics, and chemistry, demonstrating their academic proficiency.
  2. “Think Fast” — Speed and accuracy played a decisive role here. Students had to promptly answer blitz questions on engineering terms and principles within a limited timeframe.
  3. “Logic” — Science is more than just formulas! In this round, students solved unconventional problems and logical puzzles, showcasing their creative thinking abilities.
  4. “Identify by Image/Description” — During this visual stage, participants were tasked with identifying scientific equipment, famous scientists, or physical phenomena based on image fragments or brief descriptions.
  5. Final: “Super Question” — The ultimate moment! The highest-scoring teams competed for the grand prize by answering a complex question aimed at solving challenging scientific issues.

The jury, composed of faculty members from the “General Engineering” Department, noted the high level of student preparation. This intellectual competition dedicated to Science Day not only provided students with a great experience but will undoubtedly contribute to their professional development.
