On March 4, 2026, in honor of International Women’s Day and within the framework of SDG 5 “Gender Equality,” a special lesson was held for students in groups 388, 389, and 390 on the topic: “Gender Equality. The First Kazakh Women.”
Salima Aliyeva, Senior Lecturer of the “Language Education” Department, aimed to highlight the distinguished role of Kazakh women throughout Central Asian history. The session focused on the achievements of pioneering Kazakh women who broke barriers in education, science, and social leadership.
This event expanded students’ understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals and reshaped their perceptions of women’s influence in historical and modern contexts. By recognizing the leadership and resilience of Kazakh women, students gained a deeper appreciation for gender equality as a core driver of social progress.
