A landmark meeting, “Connecting Generations: Experience and the Future,” was recently held at ALT University. On the eve of our 95th anniversary, this event served as a true “relay of meanings” from those who built our traditions to those who will carry them forward.
The event featured distinguished guests deeply rooted in the history of the “Rolling Stock” Department:
-
Kaspakbayev Kabdil Sultanovich – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor;
-
Ibrayev Zheksemby Saukenovich – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor;
-
Sadibekova Bubizhamal – Museum Director and keeper of our collective memory.
Alongside the faculty and freshmen of the “Rolling Stock Engineering” program, participants explored how to preserve fundamental knowledge in an era of change and leverage past experience to lead the future.
Our Commitment to the SDGs:
-
SDG 4: Quality Education. This dialogue is a bridge where the wisdom of the past transforms into the innovations of tomorrow.
-
SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities. We foster an inclusive environment where direct communication between academic “patriarchs” and students closes social gaps and builds mutual respect.
-
SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. By fostering intergenerational ties and preserving cultural heritage, we contribute to the development of stable and sustainable urban environments.
The Bottom Line: A sustainable future is not just about technology; it’s about human connection. When the wisdom of veterans guides the energy of youth, every global goal becomes achievable.
