On March 20, 2026, the staff of the Institute of Military Affairs of the ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev, headed by the head of the Institute of Internal Affairs, Reserve Colonel Ishanov E.H., organized a visit to the boarding house for the elderly “Center for Social Services Shanyrak”.
A total of 289 elderly people live in the boarding house. Of them: 158 men, 131 women. The purpose of the campaign was to support socially vulnerable segments of the population and show attention to the older generation.
The program of the visit included:
- Cleaning of the 3.5 ha boarding house area;
- A festive concert prepared by students in honor of Nauryz Meiramy holiday.
Contribution to sustainable development: This initiative implements the objectives of SDG No. 10 “Reducing inequality”, contributing to strengthening social cohesion and fostering a sense of social responsibility among young people.
