On April 3, 2026, the Department of “Language Education” at ALT University hosted an event dedicated to UN Chinese Language Day. This initiative was organized under the framework of SDG 4 “Quality Education” and SDG 17 “Partnerships for the Goals.”
The event aimed to promote Chinese language and culture, enhance intercultural communication, and strengthen academic ties. Students showcased their talents through creative performances, including dances, theatrical scenes, and songs in both Chinese and Kazakh, reflecting their dedication to linguistic diversity and cultural exchange.
The event was coordinated by the department faculty: Head of Department Smailova F.I., Senior Lecturer Sagyrbayeva D.E., and Assistant Lecturer Maqsat S.
