Second-year students of the “Communication and Communication Technologies” program took part in an educational excursion to the Almaty Museum.
The primary objective of this event was to familiarize students with the historical and cultural development of the city of Almaty, enhance their cognitive interest, and develop their professional competencies. During the excursion, students explored the museum exhibitions and received structured information about various stages of the city’s history. The exhibits provided an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of past eras and analyze key stages in the development of society. In addition, the methods of information presentation, the organization of exhibitions, and elements of visual communication within the museum space were examined as practical examples of effective communication.
Throughout the visit, students were able to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical experience, improving their skills in information perception and analysis. Such activities contribute to the development of critical thinking, foster respect for cultural heritage, and positively influence the professional outlook of future communication specialists.
