As part of the implementation of the global strategy for ensuring quality education (SDG 4, Quality Education), the Department of Academic Policy and Quality (DAPQ) organized an informational session for students of ALT University from March 31 to April 1, 2026.
The main topic of the meeting was the launch of learning on the Coursera Qazaqstan platform. In 2026, ALT University provides students with a unique opportunity—access to global knowledge through 1,000 allocated licenses.
The event was held under the framework of Sustainable Development Goal №4, aimed at ensuring quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.
During the session, DAPQ representatives explained to students in detail how to work with the platform:
- Registration process: Instructions for activating access within the 1,000 allocated licenses.
- Educational pathways: How to choose courses, specializations, and professional certificates to strengthen your resume.
- Academic recognition: Mechanisms for integrating online courses into the current educational process and credit transfer.
Methodological Support
Special attention was given to practical aspects. Organizers provided full consulting support, answering questions regarding technical connection details and course completion timelines.
Access to Coursera Qazaqstan is not just an opportunity to take a course; it is an investment in the international competitiveness of our graduates. The aim is for every student to have the tools for continuous self-improvement.
ALT University continues to work on creating a modern educational environment that meets international standards and aligns with the values of sustainable development.
