On June 2, 2026, students of the 6B06116 — “Information Systems” educational program successfully defended their diploma projects at the Institute of Information and Computational Technologies of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the defense, the graduates presented the results of their research and practical developments devoted to current issues in digital technologies, information systems, artificial intelligence, data analysis, business process automation, and software development. The students demonstrated a high level of theoretical knowledge, research skills, and practical competencies acquired during their studies.
Experts and researchers of the Institute of Information and Computational Technologies noted the relevance of the presented projects, their practical significance, and the prospects for their further implementation in scientific and industrial activities. The participation of students in the defense at one of the country’s leading research institutes allowed them to gain valuable experience in professional communication and present the results of their work to the scientific community.
The defense of diploma projects contributes to the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goal No. 4, “Quality Education,” by ensuring the training of qualified specialists and the development of students’ research competencies. In addition, the event corresponds to the UN Sustainable Development Goal No. 9, “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure,” as it is aimed at developing innovative technologies, supporting scientific research, and strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions and scientific organizations.
The defense of diploma projects became an important stage in the professional development of future specialists in the field of information technology and confirmed the high level of training of students of the “Information Systems” educational program.
