On January 28, an informative meeting with students was held at the university as part of the “Law and Order” concept. The event was attended by Aibatyr Bauyrzhanov, an operational officer of the Cybercrime Prevention Department of the Almaty City Police Department, who engaged in an open dialogue with students.

The meeting was organized under Sustainable Development Goal 17: “Partnerships for the Goals,” aiming to strengthen cooperation between educational institutions and law enforcement agencies. Such partnerships are crucial for enhancing legal awareness and fostering a culture of safety among young people.

The discussion covered current types of cybercrime, internet fraud, personal data protection, and digital safety on social media platforms. The speaker used real-life examples to explain threat prevention methods and provided practical recommendations. This interactive session helped develop a legal culture and increased the students’ sense of digital responsibility.
