On March 13, 2026, a guest lecture was held at ALT University named after M. Tynyshpayev featuring the Director of JSC NC “KazAvtoZhol,” Gani Auezkhanovich Murzakhanov, at the Department of Architectural and Construction Engineering. The session was attended by students of the “Highways and Airfields” and “Construction of Highways and Airfields” educational programs (groups ADA-23-1k, ADA-23-2p, SAD-23-1k).
The lecture focused on “Modern methods of combating winter slipperiness on highways in the southern regions of Kazakhstan.” The speaker discussed advanced technologies for winter road maintenance, including anti-icing materials, specialized equipment, the implementation of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), and digital monitoring of road conditions.
The lecturer shared practical expertise from JSC NC “KazAvtoZhol,” presenting real-world cases on ensuring road safety during winter and discussing the future development of the industry. This session allowed students to expand their theoretical knowledge and gain practical insights into modern road management, essential for their future professional competencies in the design and operation of highways and airfields.
