On April 9, 2026, Associate Professors Kalambayeva G.A. and Yeszhanova G.K. of the Department of “Language Education” at the Institute of Logistics and Business of Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev ALT University held an educational event on the topic “The Role of Art in Human Life: Art and the Digital Environment”, which brought students together in a lively dialogue about the values of the modern world.
During interactive games, the role-play “Smartphone Trial”, and case-based tasks, participants not only developed their speaking and critical thinking skills, but also gained a deeper understanding of one of the most pressing issues among young people — the loss of spiritual guidance.
Important issues were addressed, including: lack of spirituality and the decline of moral values, internet addiction and its impact on mental health, loss of interest in reading, and the lack of face-to-face communication in the digital age.
The students reached an important conclusion: in a technology-driven world, it is especially important to preserve inner culture, develop spiritually, and maintain a balance between the digital environment and real life. Art, books, and live communication help shape not only an educated individual, but also a well-rounded personality.
The event contributes to the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals Goal 4: Quality Education, which aims to foster a well-rounded personality, develop critical thinking, moral values, and a culture of communication, and also encourages young people to approach their personal development consciously, becoming educated, responsible, and spiritually enriched individuals.
