First-year students of the “Automation and Control” Department at the Institute of Energy and Digital Technologies participated in a scientific seminar: “Using HMI Technologies in Industrial Process Control with TIA Portal.”
The seminar speaker, Assistant Lecturer Aruzhan Karassayeva, provided a comprehensive overview of HMI panel design, visualization development, and tag management. Students explored the specifics of developing control interfaces essential for modern industrial automation.
Such seminars enhance practical skills and engineering thinking by providing hands-on experience with industry-standard tools. This initiative aligns with SDG 4 – Quality Education, focusing on the advancement of students’ professional and digital competencies.
