On December 12, 2025, in connection with the celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ALT University organized a sports tournament for first-year students called “Free Children of a Free Country.” As part of the tournament, a freestyle wrestling competition was held, in which the top wrestlers demonstrating high levels of athletic skill and strength were determined in the specified weight categories.
During the competition, participants demonstrated high endurance, physical strength, and technical skills. The freestyle wrestling tournament contributed to improving students’ physical fitness, developing willpower, as well as strengthening patriotic spirit and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
This event highlighted the systematic work aimed at the all-round development of youth and ALT University’s special attention to the promotion of mass sports.
