The event aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle, strengthen the physical well-being of students, faculty, and staff, foster team spirit, and encourage active civic engagement. Special attention was given to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
-
SDG 6: Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all;
-
SDG 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
The goals of the event included:
- Raising awareness among students, faculty, and staff about the importance of a healthy lifestyle and regular physical activity for maintaining physical and psychological well-being;
- Fostering a culture of teamwork, mutual support, and active citizenship through participation in sports and community initiatives;
- Drawing the academic community’s attention to the importance of sustainable water use and the global water agenda.
The running event became an important step in strengthening the university community and promoting the values of sustainable development, bringing participants together around the ideas of health, environmental responsibility, and social engagement.
