Within the framework of implementing SDG 4 “Quality Education,” on April 10, 2026, the Department of “Radio Engineering and Telecommunications” at the ALT University named after M. Tynyshpayev held a foresight session titled: “Prospects for the Development of the Educational Program 6B06209 – Radio Engineering, Electronics, and Telecommunications.”
The event served as an expert platform for an open dialogue between the university and industry representatives, where current sector challenges, employer demands, and new guidelines for training telecommunications specialists were discussed. In the first part of the session, participants reviewed the current state of the educational program, the results of student training, and its alignment with modern labor market requirements. Special attention was paid to updating the training content, implementing new technologies, and strengthening the practical component of the educational process.
An expert discussion focused on global industry trends was one of the central blocks of the event. Key directions identified included:

Their involvement allowed for the identification of the most sought-after graduate competencies, adjustment of the program’s development vector, and reinforcement of its practical focus in accordance with modern employer demands.
