On November 18, an insightful guest lecture was held for students, dedicated to the operation and maintenance of electromechanical devices (EMD) of the Almaty Metro. The speaker was Kanat Bitinbayevich Suleimenov, Chief Engineer of the Electromechanical Devices Service (EMD Service) of KGP “Almaty Metro”. The topic of the lecture was: “Position of the EMD Service. Technical Characteristics of Metro Escalators”.
During the presentation, Kanat Bitinbayevich provided a detailed account of the structure and functions of the EMD Service within the Metro, highlighting its crucial role in ensuring the safety and continuous operation of the entire complex.
Special attention was given to escalators – one of the most complex and critical electromechanical devices. Students had the opportunity to learn in detail about: Escalator Design and Technical Specifications.
