Practical Experience as the Foundation of Modern Education
A distinctive feature of the seminar was its engaging, interactive format, in which theoretical discussions were supported by interesting examples from real-world professional practice.
The speakers shared their professional experience, presented practical situations, and discussed approaches to solving challenges encountered in financial, economic, and managerial activities.
This format allowed participants to consider professional competencies not only from the perspective of educational standards but also in relation to the actual requirements of employers.
Special attention was given to the knowledge and skills modern professionals need to work effectively, make informed decisions, and adapt to changes in the professional environment.
Interactive Dialogue and Exchange of Experience
The seminar took place in an atmosphere of open professional communication. Its interactive format encouraged participants to move beyond listening to presentations and actively engage in discussions of practical issues.
Real-world examples helped demonstrate the connection between academic knowledge and its application in everyday professional situations.
Such meetings are particularly valuable for university lecturers, as they provide opportunities to update course content, incorporate practical case studies, and improve teaching methods.
Improving the Training of Future Professionals
One of the seminar’s key areas of discussion was the use of modern educational technologies to develop the professional competencies of future specialists in transport, logistics, and economics.
The application of practical case studies, interactive assignments, real-world scenario analysis, and professional discussions contributes to the development of analytical and critical thinking, communication skills, and managerial decision-making abilities.
Interaction between university lecturers and industry professionals helps align the educational process with labor market requirements and increases the practical relevance of students’ knowledge.

Organizing methodological seminars with the participation of practicing professionals promotes the exchange of professional experience, the improvement of educational approaches, and stronger connections between academic and professional communities.
Such events are especially important when updating educational programmes in economics, transport, and logistics, as they help universities take into account real organizational challenges and current employer expectations.
The seminar demonstrated that combining modern educational technologies, interactive teaching methods, and the practical experience of professionals is an important condition for preparing qualified and competitive graduates.
